Theology, Christian Counseling, and Religious Education Doctor of: Theology, Christian Counseling, Religious Education, and Ministry Doctor of Philosophy in... Theology, Religion, and Christian Counseling   ## Seminary Division: - Master of Divinity offered to those with a secular Bachelor Degree (96 Cr. Hrs) Optional degree programs are available for those with previous educational background and ministerial experience. ### Grading System Grade will be sent to student at the end of each completed course. Transcript(s) available upon completion of program, for a fee $10.00. (South Africa for R25)   A - Superior B - Excellent C - Good D - Fair E - Failure Life Experience Credit: - Full-time Christian service will be considered for credit towards a degree. In some cases, depending on previous education, degree may be earned by submitting a thesis, test or dissertation. Course Description (General) All courses are theologically oriented with special instruction material designed or compiled by NWMDU. Each course has a specific worksheet, and in most cases, there is required extra reading. All books and materials are available from NWMD. - Credit Transfer Policy: - NWMDU will honor all credits transferred from any qualified Bible college or seminary. In many cases, credits from other colleges can be transferred also. Students in full-time Christian work receive special consideration in evaluation of previous college credit. - #### - AS FROM MARCH 2005 ALL STUDENTS FROM SIMILAR INSTITUTIONS ACCREDITED BY IUAA WILL BE ACCEPTED - - Doctor of Jurisprudence Theologian (Honors In Ecclesiastical Law) - JURIS DOCTOR - THEOLOGIAN REQUIREMENTS: YOU MUST BE AN ADULT WITH AN - BACHELORS DEGREE MASTERS DEGREE Doctor of Divinity or Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Religious Studies, International Business Ethics or the equivalent. Candidates must have experience in Mission, Pastoral, long term Religious Study and Service or Law (minimum 10 years).  Religious Laws of the World's Religions is the focus of the Juris Doctor - Theologian's Degree. Candidates seek to become the Religious Arbitrators and Judges of the Philosophies of Humanity as Humanity seeks Divine Revelation from the Holy Books of the World's Religions. The Mission of the Theologian is Truth.  Dogma must give way to reason and enlightened wisdom as revealed in light of modern science and understanding devoid of superstition and fear. COMPLETE THE APPLICATION PROCESS PAY YOUR TUITION SUBMIT AN EXCELLENT DISSERTATION Requirements for the content of a dissertation The submission of a substantial dissertation (1000 pages of solid content) is the major requirement for the award of the Juris Doctor - Theologian Degree. The process of writing the dissertation includes development of a hypothesis, analysis and interpretation of research results, and conclusions drawn therefrom. It fulfills two major purposes: 1) it is an intensive, highly professional training experience, the successful completion of which demonstrates the candidate's ability to address a major intellectual problem and arrive at a successful conclusion independently and at a high level of professional competence  2) its results constitute an original contribution to knowledge in the field. Doctoral research may be done as part of a team, with individual students working together on the total project, but defining specific parts that can be defended as representing their own individual work.
